Purchased these to use with the Superior Harambe System Kbar resistance band system. These bands were an excellent addition for smaller progressions with the larger Serious Steel bands.
Found out about Serious Steel bands from an article in Wirecutter...a N.Y. Times related series of articles that review and recommend products. These were highlighted as an upgrade from tubular bands most people use with handles. I really like these bands...at first I thought, Yeah..a giant rubber band...but the motion and range is really smoother than the tubes. I'm 67 and not Hulk Hogan...I use the 0 wide in addition to the 1 and 2. Depends on the exercise. Just ordered a second 0 wide to hook both up for chest press and other exercises...I also use my tubular for some things. Broke a tubular trying a shoulder press...that's when my research started. No problem doing a shoulder press with the 0 wide band. I highly recommend these if you're starting out or looking to supplement your current routine. If you're a "senior" like me I recommend ordering the smaller ones and work your way up.
