HOW TO START A RETURN

To start a return, log into your account on our website, navigate to your order, and click Request Return. You can also access returns through the Shopify Returns link located at the bottom of our homepage.

Please include:

  • Your Order ID

  • The email address used at checkout

  • The item(s) you wish to return or exchange

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

U.S. Customers

  • Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase

  • All approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee

  • Items must be returned in new, unused, and resellable condition, including original packaging

  • Items returned used, damaged, or missing packaging may be subject to a higher restocking fee, based on condition

  • All returned items are inspected upon receipt

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7 business days of receiving the return

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment used at checkout.

Original shipping charges and shipping insurance (ShipTection) are non-refundable.

If a prepaid return label is provided, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We’re a small, dedicated brand and do our best to take care of our customers — but we’re not in a position to absorb return shipping and restocking costs. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Non-U.S. Customers

  • Customers are fully responsible for return shipping costs

  • All international returns must be shipped back at the customer’s expense

International Returns and International Duties & Taxes

Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees paid at checkout or upon delivery are collected by your destination country’s customs authority and are typically non-refundable.

Because these charges are governed by the importing country, Serious Steel Fitness cannot guarantee reimbursement of duties or taxes.

Customers seeking recovery of these fees may contact their local customs authority directly for assistance.

Please note, while MOST new items are eligible for returns, see below the exceptions to this rule:

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

While most new items are eligible for return, the following are not eligible:

    • Final sale items (no returns; exchanges considered case-by-case based on inventory)

    • Exer-Genie, BandBell, and Slater products

    • Bumper plates, cast iron plates, barbells, or any item over 50 lbs

EXCHANGES

  • Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of purchase

  • Exchange processing may take up to 7 business days after we receive the returned item

  • For non-U.S. customers, all exchange shipping and reshipment costs are the customer’s responsibility

HOW TO SHIP YOUR ITEMS BACK TO US? 

Returned items must be properly packaged using an appropriately sized box or mailer with sufficient padding to prevent damage during transit.

Items damaged due to insufficient packaging may incur an additional restocking fee.

RECEIVED A DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEM? 

First and foremost, we are sorry for the inconvenience. 

Please notify us within 5 business days of delivery by emailing Team@SeriousSteel.com with the following:

  • Order Number

  • Item Name

  • Date of Purchase

  • Photos clearly showing:

    • The damage

    • A full-length view of the item

    • Packaging (if applicable)

Claims submitted outside this window may not be eligible for resolution.

RETURNING AN ITEM YOU BOUGHT AT AN EVENT

Items purchased at events are handled case-by-case.

Please email Team@SeriousSteel.com with:

  • Full name

  • Email address

  • Event name and date

  • Delivery address

  • Photo or scanned copy of your receipt

RETURNING AN ITEM YOU RECEIVED AS A GIFT

Due to a high volume of fraud, returns for gifted items require the original Order Number associated with the purchase.
